Lower School (K-4)

Saint Thomas Regional School is committed to inspiring and supporting the approach of each student and family throughout their development and education. We nurture each student at every stage of their development. To ensure an individualized approach to each student’s learning, all lower school classes at Saint Thomas Regional School participate in daily Math and English Language Arts stations. 

Students participate in the Blended Learning: Station Rotation model of instruction. During Stations, students receive ample opportunity to problem solve and work at their own pace and ability. Groups are fluid and dependent on the child’s ability in the areas of concentration. When working independently, students learn to solve their own problems, both educationally and socially, and become active participants in their own learning. All forms of the Blended Learning: Station Rotation model promote and celebrate the essential equity and inclusion of all students, while recognizing the unique reality of every student at each stage of their development, participate in daily Math and English Language Arts stations.
