Mission Statement

The mission of Saint Thomas Regional School is guided by the recognition that a Catholic education is unique in its integration of religious truths and values with academic life. It was founded in 1926, and this tradition continues today. Our primary commitment, therefore, is to nurture the child’s growth toward responsible Christian membership in society, while providing an educational process that develops the full potential of each child.
The faculty and staff of Saint Thomas Regional School work together with the parents to support, nourish, and strengthen the students in our school. We believe that children flourish when they are encouraged to share ideas and feelings in a comfortable and receptive environment. We are committed to providing an educational atmosphere of flexibility and creativity, while affording the students a safe place where they can learn and grow. WE WALK BY FAITH is the philosophy by which we educate our students and sustain the foundation of our school.
We are called to serve others as responsible citizens and as caring neighbors. Therefore, community projects are an integral part of each classroom’s activities. By presenting a prayerful, cooperative, and respectful model for students, we strive to encourage them to grow into well educated, caring Christian witnesses for our community and world.
